Refrigeration Cycle
Definition:
The complete course of refrigerant back to its starting point. During the refrigeration cycle, refrigerant circulates through the system changing temperature, pressure and physical state (liquid & vapor). This allows heat to be absorbed from air entering the passenger compartment and carried to the condenser where it is released. The compressor provides the pumping action necessary to move the refrigerant and create the desired changes.
